Natural Ways to Heal
"My goal is to give patients the tools they need to reclaim their own health and well being. It's about freedom from unnecessary suffering - whether it is physical, emotional or mental. You can begin to feel better now!"

Welcome! I'm Tyme Gigliotti (pronounced Juh-láh-tee), and I specialize in sports acupuncture and orthopedics. Having personally experienced the challenges of constant pain, I understand the importance of not just finding relief, but restoring proper function to prevent future injuries and enhance overall well-being.

With over 25 years of experience, I integrate my expertise in anatomy, sports physiology, and the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine to offer holistic solutions for pain management and recovery. By carefully evaluating each individual, I create customized treatment plans designed to optimize personal and athletic potential while fostering long-term wellness. My work also incorporates Chinese Herbal Medicine, as it is a great way to give yourself a treatment every day.

is to empower you with tools to maintain your own well-being while providing genuine healing and relief. Through treatment you'll not only experience symptom relief, but gain insights into self-care practices for continued health and vitality.

In addition to my practice, I'm passionate about education and have the privilege of serving as an Assistant Professor at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. I've also held leadership roles in various acupuncture boards, furthering my commitment to advancing the field of holistic medicine. I invite you to explore how my unique approach to healing can support you on your journey to optimal health and wellness. Let's work together to unlock your body's full potential and pave the way for a healthier, pain-free future.
MY MISSION
MY STORY
Searching for relief from severe neck pain and insomnia, I discovered the profound physical and mental level healing I was looking for in acupuncture with the late Kung Fu Master, Sifu Kenny Gong in New York City. Amazed, I joined the next class at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD (Class of May ’94). Since then my passion has been helping others experience freedom from physical and emotional pain as well as reclaim their own health and wellbeing. Specializing in sports acupuncture and orthopedics, I am dedicated to helping individuals experience optimal performance in all aspects of life, both on and off the field.
During my career of over 25 years I have served a number of roles, such as Chairman of the Maryland State Acupuncture Board, Secretary of the Maryland Acupuncture Society and presented at various national and international conferences on the benefits of traditional medicine. One of my greatest passions is teaching the beauty and effectiveness of this medicine at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai Sophia. Since 1999 I have served as Chair of several departments as well as Acupuncture Clinic Director. Currently I am an Assistant Professor and Doctor of Acupuncture.
Since 1998 I’ve been serving patients just south of Baltimore City at SourcePoint Health in Linthicum. I also see patients one to two days a week in West Annapolis at Wellsview Cottage.
