Gentle Electrical Stimulation
Gentle Electrical Stimulation, also known as Electrical Acupuncture or Estim, is an effective treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. This therapy is used to relieve pain, restore function, promote tissue healing, and even improve physical performance.
What is it? What does it do?
Estim involves applying a very small electrical current, called microcurrent, to acupuncture needles. The current flows from a handheld estim machine through connecting wires attached to the needles. This treatment targets tissues such as fascia, joints, muscles, and nerves, helping to heal and improve their function while also increasing flexibility and strength.

What does it feel like?

After treatment, some people may feel mild soreness, similar to what you’d experience after a good workout, especially if treating a chronic problem. This sensation typically resolves quickly.
